WoW Classic has been popular on Twitch for some time: Some of the biggest streamers are in the OnlyFangs guild and play WoW Classic in hardcore mode on a new server. The spicy thing is that every mistake has serious consequences. Now one of the most experienced WoW players, Sodapoppin, has failed stupidly. The WoW newcomer Tyler1, known for League of Legends, sees his chance.
That was the tragic moment: Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris is a WoW player from the very beginning. When Blizzard announced WoW Classic, it was a great opportunity for the giant US streamer. He even slept in the game in 2019.
Sodapoppin is behind the OnlyFangs project and leads the streamer guild. As the most experienced player and alpha wolf, he makes the announcements there, often struggles with streamers who are big but have no idea about WoW – like the terrible xQc – or he has to put Pokimane in his place.
Sodapoppin is known for his dry demeanor and enjoys watching clips of how inexperienced streamers get killed in WoW Classic. But now it has caught him too, his level 60 character, Thetusk, died in a botched pull in the “Stratholme” instance.
His hour has come:
Sodapoppin loses hardcore character with a bad pull
What impact does this have:? The death of OnlyFangs’ most important character has some implications for the guild’s plans. Because the character was actually intended as a tank for the upcoming raids.
Tyler1 immediately complained: “Now we have to wait until May to raid.”
Sodapoppin could hardly believe this stupid death and sat petrified in front of the screen.
LoL troll celebrates and rages after his boss’s failure
Who is rejoicing? The LoL streamer Tyler1 grinned and was immediately amused: It’s clear to him: The pipe just doesn’t have it. He calls his guild leader “Sodapussy” and takes on the role of the tank himself.
While other guild members talk sadly and reverently about Sodapoppin’s failure, Tyler1 shouts euphorically into the camera. “The guy can’t play WoW, he can’t do exactly what he’s known for. The guy is crying, the guy is crying!”
How does Sodapoppin react? He has to collect himself first and creates a new character. He says a lot of his life was just washed away here. That was entirely his fault; he would now work hard to get back on track.
The planned meal out has been canceled for the time being: he now has to get back to work.
Tyler1 shows his boss how to pull correctly
This is what Tyler1 says: He says Sodapoppin doesn’t need to hurry. He takes over the refueling. He happily takes over and shows “how to do it right” and “carry out the pull correctly.”
Ultimately, the example of Sodapoppin shows that no matter how many years of experience you have in WoW, if you don’t take a pull seriously and have a little Leeroy Jenkins moment, you’ll pay for it. That’s what makes this hardcore server so attractive. Tyler1 is once again a terrible person in this clip, but that’s the role he’s playing. In reality the man is more sensible than he shows here, at least somewhat. LoL: Twitch streamer describes his life as a lonely grind hell – wonders what everyone has
