The words about Börje
Börje himself will sadly never get to see the series, as he passed away last November from the effects of ALS. But Stig is of the opinion that Börje would have appreciated it.
– I actually think that Börje could say that there are a lot of similarities and that it really was as it is presented in the series. I know that Börje had to take a lot of beatings and has probably also tried to give back, so that there has been some respect from the whole thing, says Stig to the radio channel.

Stig hopes that the viewers will see what Börje was like as a person in the series.
– And that you get to take part in it in a good way. Börje was not only a hockey player, but he was a nice person. Very caring towards everyone who was around him. Feet on the ground all the way, right up to the last step, I kept saying, says Stig Salming.
