An 11-year-old boy was killed while riding his bicycle on Wednesday evening.
The incident has shaken Valsta and now the area’s young people are mourning their friend.
– He was the oldest brother and now his siblings will live without an older brother, says Mattias Andallah.
The eleven-year-old boy was riding his bike when he was hit by a car. He was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries. Behind the wheel of the car that killed the boy was a drug-affected gang criminal man in his 25s, according to information to TV4 Nyheterna.

– He was very kind. He had siblings who were also very cute, says Mattias Andallah.
Feeling insecure
The driver of the car has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence in traffic, drugged driving and causing the death of another. On Thursday morning, he was arrested by prosecutors. The friends say they no longer feel as safe walking across the street anymore.
– Actually not now that I’ve seen what can happen, you never know who’s behind the wheel, says Adin Hadzihasan Ovic.
They remember their friend as a warm and social person.
– Every time I saw him, he came over and said hello and asked how I was doing, says Adin.
