The neck of the woman who went under the knife for fibroblast treatment, also known as stem cell therapy, was flaky like a ‘lizard’ skin. Jayne Bowman, 59, living in Hampshire, England, agreed with a beautician, whom he contacted on social media, for stem cell treatment. During fibroblast therapy, a device sends a high-frequency electrical current to the skin to stimulate tissue regeneration. After the operation, the woman was left with scaly and painful skin.
MINISTRY OF HEALTH ISSUES A WARNING
The government, which is preparing to work on such faulty beauty operations in the UK, has issued a warning text.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health stressed the importance of finding ‘reputable, safe and qualified’ practitioners for cosmetic procedures.
“I LOOK LIKE A LIZARD”
The woman, whose skin ached like a burn after the operation, was horrified by the image that emerged as the wounds healed. The unfortunate woman said in a statement, ‘Weeks later there has been no change except for the terrible scar. I had hundreds of spots on my chest and neck. I looked like a lizard!’ she said.
The woman, who wrote a harsh comment on the page of the aesthetic center, warned people to be careful.
