It was decided to deport Iraqi Salwan Momika, who has carried out provocations by burning the Holy Quran in Sweden in recent months, after her residence visa expires.
HIS LEAVE WILL END ON APRIL 16
Immigration Office Press Spokesperson Jesper Tengroth said in a statement to TV4 channel that Momika has a work and residence permit until April 16, 2024. Tengroth stated that after this date, a residence and work permit will not be issued and Momika will be deported.
Stating that they took this decision due to Momika’s false statement, Tengroth said, “We detected the person’s false statements in the visa application for residence and work permit, and therefore we decided to deport her. The person was banned from entering Sweden for 5 years.” said.
Momika is expected to appeal the deportation decision and take the case to Immigration Court.
