Ocakçı, who has been missing for a week, came to the fore with the video “Your beloved money will be deposited”. Ocakçı and his wife were caught in the operation held in Adana, and the ‘FETO’ detail attracted attention.

In Izmir, a detention order was issued upon the instructions of the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for 30 people, including businessman Sedat Ocakçı, the owner of Ocakçı Holding, who is said to have collected 2.5 billion TL from thousands of people with the promise of high interest.
HIS PREPARATION FOR ABROAD WITH HIS WIFE WAS INTERRUPTED
Izmir Police Department Financial Crimes Department teams, who pressed the button of the operation in the morning, searched 3 different workplaces belonging to Ocakçı. In the continuation of the operations; While Ocakçı Holding owner Sedat Ocakçı and his wife Seçilay Ocakçı were preparing to go abroad, they were caught by the teams of Izmir Financial Crimes Fighting Branch Directorate in Adana, in the residence where they were hiding, with the support of the teams of Izmir Intelligence Branch Directorate and Adana KOM Branch Directorate. While it was revealed that the captured Sedat Ocakçı was a first lieutenant who was dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces in 2019, the number of detainees in the operation increased to 26.

Sedat Ocakçı, owner of Ocakçı Holding, claimed that his nephew, Cyber Security Expert Salih Han, escaped to Dubai with a cold wallet worth 2 billion 500 million TL belonging to the holding. While it was stated that businessman Sedat Ocakçı, who said he would pay the money, had disappeared for a week, it was learned that the money was collected with the promise of 17 percent monthly interest and thus a huge profiteering was made.

When the signs at the entrance of the holding building were removed and the for rent banner was hung on the building, the victims were revealed. The victims, who sold their houses and cars, took out loans and handed over the money they had, gathered in front of Hira Consultancy Training and Software in Çiğli district yesterday.

It was also revealed that Sedat Ocakçı, who grew up in a short time with the promise of establishing a drone factory and opened a holding building in Çiğli, was a first lieutenant who was dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) in 2019.
