“He should seek help – he’s sick”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

It was only when the child idol Pontus Rasmusson, 24, was reviewed by Svenska Dagbladet as YouTube caught the eye of his material. In the review, the journalists took a closer look at how Rasmusson sexualized children in his YouTube clips.

It could be that he talked about incest and sexual abuse, among other things.

YouTube shut down Rasmusson’s channels when they believed he violated their child safety policy, which prohibits the sexualization of children. During his career, Rasmusson has also faced criticism for having encouraged children to call different toll numbers. That the calls cost money should not have been made clear, say some parents.

In connection with the review, the advertisers immediately fled from Pontus Rasmusson.

After YouTube shut down Rasmusson’s channels, he has now applied to other pages. Pontus can be found today on the paid service Patreon and also on TikTok. On TikTok, it is free to share his material, and there he offers his fans short videos with sketches and challenges.

In addition to that, Pontus has started a channel on the far-right site Rumble where he has a little over 300 followers.

On Instagram, Pontus Rasmusson has recently published a series of stories where he advises on products such as underpants, perfumes and training clothes. For the video snippets, Pontus wrote that it was all advertisements for companies such as Björn Borg, Åhlens and Tan revel.

But when Blogbevakking on his Instagram drew the attention of the companies to Pontus’ “ads”, it quickly became clear that none of the companies he mentioned had a collaboration with Pontus Rasmusson.

“Hello! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have no collaboration with Pontus Rasmusson,” wrote Åhléns.

“We do not stand behind this and take it further,” commented Björn Borg.

“We have no partnership with Pontus,” wrote TanRevel.

Aimn Sportswear is also urging followers to report Pontus’ post as he did not respond to the company when they asked him to remove the post.

“Pontus Rasmusson lied about collaborations”

The newspaper Summary dug further into the whole thing, and it turned out that Pontus Rasmusson had gotten hold of an old link that allowed him to post what looked like paid collaborations, but weren’t.

Blogbevakning posted a post about how Pontus Rasmusson did a story where he advised on underwear for children, and the reactions immediately poured in.

“Don’t understand how anyone can follow him. Thinks he’s creepy”

“But for the hell of it!!!”

“Such an unpleasant person…”

In a new post on Instagram writes Camilla Gervidewho runs Blog Watch, that the companies that Pontus has posted links for will probably have to pay Pontus but that he is now blocked from being able to do similar things again.

Viktor Frisk is not the first Swedish celebrity to criticize Pontus Rasmusson. Also Therese Lindgren has had a few things to say about the scandal-ridden profile, you can read more about that here.
