It was last Saturday that the 50-year-old man collected the winnings of 11.6 million. Svenska Spel writes that he was unaware of his future wealth before the betting company contacted him.
– I can’t even imagine what will happen in my life now, he says to Svenska Spel.
He himself states that he has played on the same line in Lotto for 25 years. The winning sum is the highest this year, the prize pool was so large because no one got seven right in the four previous draws.
Although the future is uncertain for the lucky Tranås resident, he has some dreams that he now hopes to fulfill.
– For myself, I have always dreamed of building my own house. I want to live in the forest, build completely neutral construction-wise, and sustainably. Now I have a good basis to be able to do it and it will be done, says the man.
He also states that there are children who will be allowed to share in the profits.
