A person on the Asiana Airlines passenger plane, which took off from Jeju Island in South Korea, opened the emergency exit door close to landing. According to Yonhap’s report, the suspect, who was seen opening the door of the passenger plane during landing, was detained by the police on the grounds that he violated aviation security laws.
HE SAID HE HAS STRESSED DAYS
The 33-year-old male passenger, whose statement was taken, said that he tried to get off the plane quickly because he was short of air. The suspect stated that he had been going through stressful days recently due to his recent unemployment.
It is stated that the unnamed person could face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
12 PASSENGER WAS INJURED
