A man in his 40s in Mark’s municipality is accused of multiple rapes against three children, writes Mark-Posten.
The man was arrested after the mother of one of the victims raised the alarm after the Midsummer weekend last year. By digging into the man’s past, the police found more suspected victims and abuse – which allegedly took place as far back as nine years.
According to the prosecutor, the suspect has had a similar approach in the various cases where he approached teenage girls.
– He has made contacts with people who are not unfamiliar to him and built up a more or less established relationship with them, says chamber prosecutor Andreas Lennartsson to Borås Tidning.
According to the indictment, two of the girls were threatened and drugged before he attacked them in his home.
The man denies any crime, according to P4 Sjuhärad. The indictment concerns several cases of rape and rape against children.
