He Installed 1000 Viruses Then He Launched Antivirus Heres

Have you ever tried to throw more than 1000 viruses on your computer and check if your antivirus could cope? This YouTuber did the test for you.

Having an antivirus is essential for many Internet users. Although the firewall on your Windows or Mac computer is already very effective in guarding against online dangers, it is always worth having additional security. Antiviruses are also very numerous today and offer all kinds of different protections. Some even add bonus services like integrating a VPN into your computer for secure browsing.

However, an antivirus, however powerful and efficient it may be, is not without flaws. But to what extent? This is the question that YouTuber Nicholas Zetta wanted to answer. The latter had the crazy idea of downloading and installing 1000 viruses on his computer. His process was simple: he simply clicked on all the potential viruses encountered while browsing. When you typically decide not to click on a suspicious link or image that screams malware, Nicholas simply did the opposite of common sense and downloaded whatever crossed his path.

Nicholas Zetta explains that downloading the 1000 viruses was not very complicated. As he browsed, the YouTuber ended up coming across a site bringing together a multitude of viruses organized by categories. All he had to do was download enough to reach the symbolic number of 1000 viruses. Nicholas details that a large part of the downloaded viruses seemed to target a rather young audience, promising free skins and bonuses for Fortnite and Roblox games.

Once the viruses were installed, Nicholas Zetta started installing several antiviruses on his computer, obviously including the most well-known ones: Kaspersky, McAfee, BitDefender… The only problem: they were extremely slow to install or even did not work. at all, due to conflicts with previously installed viruses. Nicholas then tried to restart his computer in order to finalize all the installations and the result surprised him: on his screen, multiple animations and error windows opened one after the other. His computer equipment is not doing any better since the fans of his computer started blowing as hard as they could. This is probably explained by the fact that several viruses must have been performing multiple, very resource-intensive operations in the background.

At the end of his experience, the YouTuber was almost unable to use the computer as it was extremely slow. It will note, however, that one of the installed antivirus programs has sent a notification that it has detected malware on the computer. One in 1000 isn’t bad.
