“He has 35 games left…”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Rasmus Dahlin is now having his best NHL season in his career.
In tonight’s meeting with the Dallas Stars, the Swede accounted for his 14th goal of the season, which is his best record ever.
In the same vein, he became the club’s first back in 25 years to score 14 goals in one and the same season.

Rasmus Dahlin and his success in the NHL this season just keeps going and going. During the winter, the Swedish 22-year-old has been absolutely brilliant, and in tonight’s meeting with the Dallas Stars, he struck again.

Only Karlsson better

In the middle of the first period, Dahlin put in the equalizing puck until 1–1. The goal meant that he has already accounted for 53 points after 45 games played. Something that makes him the back who picked up the second most points, only alien Erik Karlsson is better with its 63 points.

The article continues after the picture.

But the goal meant more than that. Rasmus Dahlin has now accounted for 14 goals this season, which is now his best record in terms of goals. He is also the first Buffalo Sabers defenseman in 25 years to score 14 goals in one season, which last happened when Alexei Zhitnik played.

“He’s too good”

In his last three games, Dahlin has now scored 1 goal and 4 assists, and with that he has moved away from third in the defenders’ scoring, Josh Morrissey.

Dahlin has, for obvious reasons, been elevated to the skies by his supporters several times this season, and it doesn’t look like that will change any time soon.

“He’s TOO good,” writes one user on Twitter.

“Hope he can continue in the same style. What a talented back he is,” writes another.

“Consider that he has 35 games left to play this season,” notes a third.
