Four people, including Andrew and Tristan Tate, were detained in Romania on 29 December 2022 as part of an investigation into human trafficking.

In the statement made by the prosecutor’s office, it was stated that 4 suspects were charged with human trafficking and establishing a criminal organization. In the statement, it was stated that 6 victims who were allegedly sexually abused by the group were identified.
