The Supreme Court has set aside November 14 and 15 for negotiations. But they will only use one of the dates, says Hudiksvall’s newspaper.
The district court of Hälsingland sentenced Jeanette Bergström’s partner for murder to life imprisonment, a sentence that was later changed by the Court of Appeal to seven years in prison for extremely serious assault. The Court of Appeal considered that it was not beyond all reasonable doubt that the injuries caused Jeanette Bergström’s death.
The Attorney General appealed the verdict to the Supreme Court, which in June granted leave to appeal.
