Anyone interested in learning about local history in a fun, slightly spooky way, a Ghost Walks of Chatham-Kent event is planned for Friday night.
Walks leave the side parking lot of Riverview Gardens on King Street West in Chatham at 7:30, 8 and 8:30 pm
This relatively new tour has lots to tell about strange happenings on surrounding roads, including King and Lacroix streets and Inshes and Robertson avenues, organizers say.
A former resident will discuss his paranormal experiences while living on Inshes Avenue, said Sheila Gibbs, a tour guide.
Tickets, available online from Eventbrite.ca, are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, plus fees. Walks go rain or shine.
