‘Hate ’em’: Thor star Chris Hemsworth admits dislike of part of his job repeated in Furiosa

One of Marvel hero Thor’s visual trademarks is his voluminous cape. For years, actor Chris Hemsworth wore the scrap of fabric as part of his costume, but now he shocked with a revelation: he never liked the Thor cape. This is all the more bitter since he immediately got it back as an accessory for his current role as a villain in the upcoming blockbuster Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

As our Spanish sister site VidaExtra reports based on an Entertainment Weekly interview with Hemsworth and Furiosa actress Anya Taylor-Joy, the actor has one outright hatred on the flowing garment:

Hate her. So inconvenient. […] With Thor there was [einen Umhang], which was about a foot shorter than the normal cloak, for fighting because you were constantly tripping over it. So inconvenient. […]

In the Entertainment Weekly interview, he also talks about how he was often stuck in doors with the Thor cape. Hemsworth was therefore probably not the greatest when he was presented with the costume for his villain Dementus in Furiosa. This is what it looks like:
