Hasse Aross cryptic response about the successor in Wanted

The program Wanted, MED Hasse Aro At the forefront, has helped the police find suspected perpetrators in live broadcast since its inception in 1990. In the spring of 2025, the 65th season of TV3’s success program is broadcast.

News24 met Hasse Aro in connection with the program once again starting to go in the box, and the profile then told about a certain memorable moment in live broadcast – and was also asked who he would like to see taking his place in the studio…

It’s the 65th season of Wanted. Will there be any changes this season.

– No, nothing that someone will notice. We always make some small changes. So I think if you look at programs from season 1 and season 65 then you may see some changes. Not least with regard to the age of the program manager.

The viewers have helped to find many wanted people. Is there any specific case that stands out for you?

– There are a lot of cases that stand out. For example, the first murder we solved when fiancee to one of the perpetrators called. We have also had cases where the perpetrator himself has called in and tried to put out rest track. And it has been like that. After all, we have noticed that when our reports evoke emotions, when, for example, a victim’s relative is included, then we get much more tips.

Has it happened sometime to wanted people call themselves?

– It has happened many times. We even had a person who came into the studio and indicated himself.

How many tips do you get per program?

– It’s very different. That varies greatly. On the one hand, it depends on what case we have. For example, if it has been a big robbery somewhere, then many have seen anything. On the one hand, it also depends on whether we arouse emotions. If the victims’ relatives are involved or the victim himself is involved in arousing emotions, then it triggers people to call in. It is currently common with gang -related violence, and those who know something do not call in. And many have not even seen anything, so they can’t call in.

No one wants to see it happen, but if you leave – who would you like to see as a successor to you?

– I have a name, but there is no one you know and there is nothing I intend to say.

It’s a secret person?

– No, it’s not a secret person, but it’s a very good person that I think would do this.
