Hasthtag Charitable Foundation has a new fundraiser.
The agency behind Race to Erase, Year of Local books and the Hashtag Local social media site recently announced its Charity Sweeps.
Donations made at hashtagcharitable.com/sweeps give people draws at prize packages from 40 participating businesses, said executive director Rich Bouchard.
Get 20 entries for $20, 75 for $50f, and 225 for $100, he said, noting proceeds go go Hashtag Charitable initiatives including new projects planned for 2023.
Three prize packages are available, valued at $2,500, $1,000 and $500, he said, adding winners will be announced Feb. 28.
“The Hashtag Charitable Sweeps are another example of the type of win-win-win initiatives we love,” Bouchard said in a news release.
“At Hashtag Charitable, we want to amplify the impact of every donation dollar raised and … we are excited about the opportunity to reward citizens for choosing to donate locally.”
