Famous actor Robert De Niro targeted former President Donald Trump in US President Joe Biden’s election campaign. Speaking at the election campaign event held in New York, a few meters away from the Supreme Court, where the historical “hush money” case against Trump was heard, De Niro claimed that when Trump was a candidate for the first time, people perceived it as a joke.
“We have forgotten the lessons of history that show that clowns like these are taken seriously only after they become ruthless dictators,” the Academy Award-winning actor said. But thanks to Trump, we have a second chance and no one is laughing anymore. “It is time to stop him once and for all with our votes,” he said.

Claiming that if Trump returns to the White House, he may see the civil liberties that Americans see as guaranteed evaporate and elections abolished, De Niro said, “If he enters the White House, I can say that he will never leave again.”
“ONE CLOWN”
De Niro: “I love this city. I don’t want it to be destroyed. Donald Trump wants to destroy not just a city, but a country. “Ultimately, it may even destroy the world,” he said. “We New Yorkers could tolerate a vulgar and unscrupulous real estate salesman trying to pass himself off as someone important and a two-bit playboy trying to get into the papers with his lies,” De Niro said. He’s a clown. Nobody took him seriously. “Now it is taken seriously,” he said.
Trump’s election campaign officials, on the other hand, argued that the event De Niro attended revealed the desperation of the Biden side. Trump’s Election Campaign Spokesman Jason Miller accused Biden of employing a “faded” actor for his campaign.
