In a week, it’s finally time for the Biathlon World Cup again. Then it has been the main concern of the Swedish national team management before the long-awaited championship.

But two places were left open to see how it went during the Biathlon European Championships and where form had to decide. In the end, the national biathlon team decided to give Peppe Femling and Viktor Brandt the chance with the last two places.
Harsh criticism

The biathlon expert Disl thinks that Nykvist would have been given a relay team and could have performed much better than Femling or Brandt.
– Both Peppe Femling and Viktor Brandt have unfortunately shown many times that they like to end up in penalty rounds, especially in relays. Therefore, I had included Emil Nykvist as a safe short in the baton.
This means that both Emil Nykvist and Stina Nilsson can follow the Biathlon World Cup at home from the TV sofa.
