My Policeman is the film adaptation of the novel of the same name by British author Bethan Roberts, which is published in Germany under the title My husband’s lover has appeared. Harry Styles takes on the role of a married police officer who begins an affair with a man in 1950s Brighton.

My policeman is on tells two levels of time, which means that the three central figures are doubly cast. While Styles embodies the young Tom Burgess, Linus Roache takes over the older version. Emma Corrin and Gina McKee share the role of Marion, Tom’s wife. David Dawson and Rupert Everett play Patrick, the museum curator who becomes Tom’s lover as the story progresses.
The screenplay for My Policeman was penned by Philadelphia writer Ron Nyswaner, who has recently worked on series such as Homeland and Ray Donovan. The staging takes over Michael Grandage, who is responsible for his Work as a theater director is known, but has also already implemented various film and series projects.
When does My Policeman start on Amazon Prime?
My Policeman starts on November 4, 2022 on Amazon Prime. The film will also have a limited theatrical release. In the USA he will conquer the big screen from October 21, 2022. It is unclear whether it will also be shown in cinemas in this country.
