Together, showrunner Bryan Fuller and actor Mads Mikkelsen breathed new life into Thomas Harris’ Hannibal Lecter book templates. The series, simply titled Hannibal, ran for 3 seasons from 2013 to 2015 and was distinguished by outstanding acting and unforgettably disturbing nightmare images to the horror masterpiece.
After we also named Hannibal one of the 100 best series of the last 10 years, there is now great news for fans of the duo. Bryan Fuller and Mads Mikkelsen will be for one new horror movie reunited.

Hannibal duo directs new horror film about girl who wants to fight a monster
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Bryan Fuller and Mads Mikkelsen are co-directing and starring in the new horror film Dust Bunny. According to initial information, the story revolves around an eight-year-old girl who is looking for her neighbor’s help. She wants to be with him Kill monsters under her bed, which allegedly ate the girl’s family. Mikkelsen, who most recently played the new Grindelwald in the Harry Potter universe as a Johnny Depp stand-in, will appear in the role of Neighbor.
Dust Bunny is supposed to be on 80’s family horror movies recall. When Bryan Fuller lives out his Hannibal-style handwriting, we’re sure to be in for some incredibly disturbing imagery once again.
Aside from the new horror film, Fuller remains busy for the foreseeable future. He was just reported to be the producer, showrunner and screenwriter on a new Friday the 13th prequel series. Dust Bunny is scheduled to be filmed in January 2023 start.
