The Christmas Pig or Jack’s miraculous journey with the Christmas pig is a festive fantasy novel by Harry Potter author JK Rowling. In Germany, this was published by Carlsen Verlag in 2021, but for people who are lazy readers, there may soon be another option under the tree.
As Variety reports, there is one Film adaptation of the material in development. However, at the moment everything is still happening internally at Rowling’s production company Bronte, as no major studio like Warner Bros. is attached to the project at this early stage.

In the holiday story for a young audience, little Jack loses his plush toy Swein. An adventurous one Journey to the land of the lost begins, into which the boy has to penetrate in order to find his stuffed friend again. But the magical place is full of surprises and strange creatures. And in the end, Jack has to make the most difficult decision of his young life.

The illustrations in the book are by Jim Field. However, it is not yet clear whether the film version will be created using classic animation, CGI or as a live-action adventure.
A new Harry Potter series re-adapts the fantasy series
A new Harry Potter series has also been in the works for HBO streamer Max since last year. She wants to implement all 7 books about the Hogwarts magic school and its students in 7 seasons, which will take about a decade of time. Naturally will Harry, Hermione, Ron and Co. all recast and the creative team will also be different than it was during the film series.
