British Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were chased by a number of photographers, so-called paparazzi, after an event in New York on Tuesday.
According to the couple’s spokesperson, the hunt was close to ending in “a disaster”, reports Sky News.
“This relentless pursuit continued for over two hours and was about to cause several collisions,” the spokesperson writes.
Both the general public and the police must have been close to accidents.
Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, died in a car accident in Paris in 1997 after being chased by paparazzi photographers.
