Does Harrison Ford transform into the red Hulk in Captain America?

In the pictures, Marvel fans see Harrison Ford for the first time in his Captain America 4 role as Thaddeus Ross. The former general and secretary of state has since risen to the ranks of US President, but has never really put his hunt for the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) aside.

In the Marvel Comics, Ross can be transformed into the so-called Red Hulk, to better hunt down its green cousin. Well-informed journalist Jeff Sneider recently revealed on The Hot Mic podcast that his sources say Captain America 4 will feature a Red Hulk. He could not confirm whether this is Ford’s character.

Images from the Captain America 4 set also gave MCU fans their first glimpse of a major Marvel return: Tim Blake Nelson returns 15 years after The Incredible Hulk as scientist Samuel Sterns. He was exposed to Hulk blood at the end of the 2008 film and turned himself into some sort of green giant.

The first new Sterns image now suggests how slow and unusual the Hulk transformation has been for him. Instead of a completely green, muscular body only his hands have changed color. In the comic book, Sterns transforms into the hyper-intelligent villain The Leader.

In addition to playing the daughter of Thaddeus Ross, she also played the ex-girlfriend of Edward Norton’s Hulk in the 2008 film. Ruffalo has since taken on the role of the green Avenger, and Betty Ross has not featured in his story. Does the two still have a past liaison?
