The New Honda HR-V, which entered Turkey in February, can be chosen over two different equipment packages.
The sales process for the HR-V, which Honda has completed by adding it to its product range in Turkey after City, Accord and Civic, begins in February. The new Honda HR-V, which entered the market with two different hardware options, will be in front of the users with a price range that can attract special attention to the launch. The new generation, which started its sales with a starting price of 650,000 TL, entered with equipment called Style and Advance. There is no doubt that the HR-V, where “Honda Sensing”, which includes active and passive safety elements even in the most basic package, is offered as standard, will satisfy the users at this point. The equipment of the family, which entered the lists of Turkey with the promotion, can now be seen on paper.
New Honda HR-V features
The new HR-V comes as standard with the e:HEV hybrid engine combination, which we know from other models of the family. In the HR-V e:HEV, which does not need a plug or charging, two compact electric motors are positioned next to the 1.5-liter gasoline engine. Working on the basis of Atkinson, the 1.5-liter double overhead camshaft i-VTEC gasoline engine is combined with a CVT transmission. While the e:HEV system in the new HR-V is optimized to produce 131PS of power and 253Nm of torque, it is also noteworthy that this value comes by producing 22 PS more power than the Jazz. It is possible to say that the fact that the vehicle is over 150 kilograms heavier than the Jazz is also an important factor in this increase. In HR-V, the number of cells in the battery is increased by 25 percent, allowing 80 kW more electrical power to be stored compared to the Jazz. The model, where economy-oriented use can be experienced together with pure electric driving experience, has a mixed consumption value of 5.4 liters as factory output. It is also worth noting that the new HR-V completes 0-100 km/h acceleration in 10.7 seconds with this engine.

What safety elements come with the Honda Sensing package?
The new HR-V stands out with different safety measures to provide the highest level of protection to all passengers. While the Active High Beam Control System and Blind Spot Warning System are offered as standard in all versions, equipment such as Cross Traffic Alert System are added depending on the equipment level. While the multi-purpose camera and sensors of the previous generation HR-V are replaced by a wider angle high resolution monocular camera; The performance of the hardware is also improved compared to the system introduced in the current Jazz.
While the camera provides a continuous clear field of view with the image processing and recognition performance with Artificial intelligence (AI) in the system; It is noteworthy that the rear sensing distance has been increased from 3 m to 25 m for increased safety. Within the scope of Honda SENSING, advanced driving support technologies such as Collision Prevention Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assistance System (LKAS), Lane Keeping Assistant (RDM), Blind Spot Warning System working together with Cross Traffic Alert System, Traffic Sign Recognition System, Intelligent Speed Limiter (ISL), Active City Brake System and Adaptive Cruise Control (LSF) functions are included in the new HR-V.

Alongside active safety measures, the new HR-V incorporates Honda’s proprietary Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure technology, which is the foundation of passive safety performance and enhances occupant collision protection. ACE™, which distributes the collision energy more evenly to the front of the vehicle, reducing the forces transferred to the passenger compartment; By dissipating the collision energy, it not only protects the vehicle and passengers, but also reduces the collision energy transferred to the other vehicle. The new HR-V users, which stand out with their standard safety equipment, are protected by multiple airbags.
