But the new film by disaster guru Roland Emmerich did not meet with much approval from the critics. For some, Moonfall was “one of the dumbest movies I’ve ever seen.” Even the sizeable cast with Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson couldn’t do much to change that.
Moonfall depicts the descent of the disaster film. Where superheroes brawl through multiverses worth billions, earthquakes and mega-tsunamis are simply a thing of the past. A whole genre falls into the abyss together with the earth satellite.
