“Strict dress code may apply”
There is no dress code when it comes to the color of clothing for spectators, however, many choose to wear white to preserve tradition. There is no enforced dress code, however visitors should dress “casual smart”. Women should typically wear a “jumpsuit” while men are advised to wear their “best summer suit with Panama hat”.
Should it happen that you have a ticket into the “Royal Box” where you are among British royalty, a stricter dress code applies. Then it is “smart” which means a jacket and tie for men and women should not wear a hat as it can interfere with the view of other spectators.
