Hans Wahlgren86, and Christina Schollin, 85, is something of “showbiz royalty” in Sweden. They are both successful actors, perhaps Christina is best known for her role as Lydia Ekdahli Fanny & Alexander, but she has also made an impression on the Swedish public through roles in unforgettable soaps such as Varuhuset and Tre kronor.
Hans also has a solid CV with everything from TV series, films and large theater productions. Christina and Hans have been married since 1962, and together they have had children Pernilla Wahlgren, Niclas Wahlgren, Linus Wahlgren and Peter Wahlgren – and almost all the siblings work in music or the acting industry.

Hans and Christina’s grandchildren are not lacking in the creative spirit either – just look at the multi-talent and the entrepreneur Bianca Ingrosso and her little brother, the celebrated artist Benjamin Ingrosso.

Both Hans and Christina have a very good relationship both with their children and grandchildren – so perhaps it was not a shock that Christina Schollin has recently spent a little extra time with her son Niclas Wahlgren.
Mother and son have been to Spain, where Christina and Hans have had a house in sunny Nerja since 2000.

Since the beginning of the 1960s, Hans and Christina have lived in their picturesque red house in Gustavsberg. The house is even covered in Benjamin Ingrosso’s song The Big Red House, which is about the Wahlgren family home.

But those who follow Pernilla on social media and occasionally listen to her podcast may have noticed that lately we have seen a lot more of her father Hans?
On Instagram, Pernilla told a little more about the reason why Hans has moved into her house on Lidingö.
“Is dad staying with us right now, while mom is in Nerja with Nicke (Niclas Wahlgren eds. note). So nice to have so much time with you, dad!”, wrote Pernilla.

– I love living with my father. My mother is in Spain, with Nicke my brother. So they have some mother and son time, so then we have some father and daughter time. He had a doctor’s appointment here at home in Sweden, so then he lives with me and it’s so cozy, explained Pernilla.
Now Hans seems to have moved back home to Gustavsberg with Christina, because on Instagram Pernilla shared a clip where she was visiting “the big red house” and thanked her mother and father for a nice day.
