The World Cup season for biathlon is now over.
Franzian Pruss took home the total World Cup title.
But now Hanna Öberg explains why she refused to hug the rival.
The season finale at the World Cup in biathlon was very dramatic. Hanna Öberg Had the lead for the very last shooter at the mass start in Holmenkollen.
Öberg disappointed
However, the Swede failed to keep his nerves in place and missed three shots. Which made her collapse in the results list and go to the finish in a twelfth place.
– I didn’t want to push too hard too soon. But I give myself the chance to do something really good. But I can’t say anything but that I’m disappointed with the last shooter, she tells Expressen.

Instead it was German Franzian Pruss who won the race and thus also took home the overall World Cup, after an unfortunate case for the French Lou Jeanmonnot.
– It was really dramatic but sad that it would be that way. But I think that’s what happens and I hope both are happy and happy anyway, says Öberg to the evening newspaper.
Refused to hug
After the race, you could also see that the total winner Pruss wanted to hug for a distressed Hanna Öberg. But the Swede backed back and refused to receive the hug, now she explains why.
– It’s because I’m a little cold. Even though it was the last competition, no one wants to get sick, says Hanna in the interview.

– In total, I do not think it is approved. After the World Cup it has been better, but in total I had wanted much more and I think I did the job but not received a dividend. But there are some things to work on. A little snap up on self -confidence, I think I could have done more. There is so little that is missing, I know I have the capacity, Hanna tells Expressen.
