Friberg has over 250,000 followers on Instagram. During her participation in the Vasaloppet, she had a photographer with her, partly to immortalize the moment, but also to take her followers on the journey.

– I get this question almost every day. It all depends on what kind of weather it is. But I would say to make sure you have comfortable clothes that you have worn before. Nothing should be stuck in a strange place, so that you can really get through 10 hours, says Friberg to Nyheter24.
In order to stand on skis for ten hours, you need to be properly dressed. Although clothing is affected by the weather forecast, there are some important tips that always apply.
– I made sure to really wear comfortable underwear. A nice sports bra, nice socks. It’s good to have thought something like that out beforehand because you never know what might rub off during the race, says Friberg.

Friberg made sure to practice cross-country skiing before she entered the race, but even so, she was worried before the race.
– I thought it would be much worse. I thought I would freeze my hand, that I would get chafing, be in pain and that the last bit would be unbearable.
It turned out that she had trained enough, both physically and mentally. Friberg believes that she had so many miles in her legs, but she was also very determined to complete the entire race. The worry she felt before disappeared as soon as she was on track.
– I had probably built up a worse image than what it actually was. I was pleasantly surprised when I went and made it.
