The 30-year-old YouTuber Maximilian Knabe is one of the most popular personalities in German gaming as “HandOfBlood”. What is the price now? The Effie is a renowned award for efficient communication in the advertising industry. In Germany, it has been awarded annually by the General Association of Communications Agencies (GWA) since 1981 – as Effie Worldwide, the prize has existed in the USA since the 1960s.

What exactly did he win? Two campaigns by the influencer agency INSTINCT3, which was co-founded by HandOfBlood, and the “Jung von Matt” agencies received awards.

  • Silver in the category “Influencer Marketing” went to the “Sparkassen-Hänno”. For the campaign commissioned by the Sparkasse, HandOfBlood slipped into the role of an e-sports consultant who was supposed to save “silver idiots from ELO hell”. (via Sparkasse). It was created in cooperation with the agency Jung von Matt Sports, Instinct3 took over the creative direction and production.
  • Eintracht Spandau’s launch campaign under the motto “Here is Real” received bronze. This is a joint project between Instinct3 and Jung von Matt Nerd, an offshoot of the “Jung von Matt” agencies. Here Hänno appeared in his role as President Knabe as the draft horse.
