It Began when an Officer Saw A Man at 7:30 am Cycling Against the Flow of Traffic, Turned on the Flashing Lights, Stopped the Man and Spoke to Him Through TheRegh The Cruiser’s Passenger Window, Sarnia Police Said in a News Release.
The Man Tried to Peddle Away But the Officer Moved the Cruiser to Prevent Him. At that point, the man ran across a snowbank with the bike and tried to peddle away again but the officer chased him down on foot and placed him under arrest.
The Man Began to Fight and While That was Happying A Handgun Fell from the suspect to the group.
The Officer DisengenGed and Used A Stun Gun, Which was only partially effective, and the man continued to resist “violently,” Police Said.
“Physical Strikes Were requirement” to restrain Him Until More Officers Arrived and Helped Take Him Into Custody, The Release Said.

A Search Found Two Large Knives in the WaStband of His Pants, as well as a small bag holding fentanyl, Police Said.

Mischief we have porch leads to arrest
Officers Were Called Saturday Evening to Victoria Street East by A Report of Man On A Porch Kicking A Front Door, Says Sarnia Police.
A Neighbour who Called in the report at 7:25 pm Said the man also damaged a wooden railing.

Suspect Fleeing Break-in Spotted by Victim
A Woman Reported Seeing A Man Leaving Her Apartment On Cathcart Boulevard Wednesday Evening and then Discovered a Cell Phone and Prescription Drugs WERE Missing, Says Sarnia Police.
