Lambton OPP say a loaded gun and suspected fentanyl, cocaine and hydromorphone were seized Wednesday when officers made a traffic stop in St. Clair Township.
Police said officers also arrested an individual during the traffic stop on Cameron Street that followed a drug trafficking investigation.
Lambton OPP said Elijah Francique, 22, of Scarborough, has been charged with possession of drugs, possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and also faces several firearms charges, as well as a charge of failing to comply with a release order.
Francique was held in custody following a bail hearing Thursday, police said.
