Handen, Haninge: Explosion at apartment building

An explosion occurred in Handen, south of Stockholm, during the night towards Monday.

– There is damage to a gate and several apartment windows, says Patrick Johansson, officer on duty at the rescue service.

The first of many alarm calls came in to the emergency services at 03:05.

– We are there. There has been some kind of detonation outside at an apartment building. There is damage to a gate and several apartments have had their windows blown out, says Patrick Johansson, officer on duty at the rescue service.

There are no reports of injuries in connection with the explosion.
