Now Handelsbanken’s turn has come. In an email to its customers, the bank urges caution.
There are several ways to reduce the risk of being exposed to fraudsters.
– The most important thing is to contact the bank immediately so we can block cards and vulnerable services and try to save the money. Then contact the police to file a report, says Andreas Jensenspecialist at Handelsbanken’s fraud prevention department, in it link sent out to the bank’s customers.
However, Handelsbanken’s advice differs slightly from other authorities’ advice. One piece of advice is to divide your money between different accounts. In this way, money can be made more difficult to access.
