With 1.21 left to play, H65 was on the attack and went for a winning goal. The ball was played into the middle but was broken by Aranäs Anna Heed who was able to advance to the center circle and score 29-29 in an empty net, which was the final result in Kungsbacka sports hall.
– It’s fantastic and it was a really fun match. Our goal was to be connected from the start and we succeeded in that, says the match’s player Stella Nyman to the Handball league live.
Aranäs has already taken more victories than last year when the women’s team entered the Handball League.
“It’s sour”
H65 had several opportunities to equalise. With two seconds left, Wilma Pettersson had to take a long shot, but Hanna Eriksson in the Aranäsmålet tipped the ball wide and a wild ring dance to celebrate the victory could take place.
– It’s sad, we have a four-ball lead I think and should rely on that H65’s Cassandra Tollbring.
H65 actually led by five balls on two occasions in the second half.
