Handball: 14 goals by Alexandra Bjärrenholt as Skuru won the series final and secured the series victory

– To win against Sävehof and to take the series victory. It doesn’t get much better than that. We are more clinical than them in the second half, says Alexandra Bjärrenholt to Handbollsliga live and tells us that the goal before the season was to finish in the top 4.

Skuru celebrated with a ring dance that never seemed to end in front of happy fans in Nacka bollhall.

Sävehof seemed to have decided when they led 14-18 at the beginning of the second half, but Skuru and above all Alexandra Bjärrenholt had not given up. And substitute goalkeeper Rebecca Nilsson made a couple of important saves.

When Bjärrenholt powerfully got through with a spin and made it 18-18, Skuru had momentum. In addition, Nina Koppang was expelled in the same sequence.

Skuru scored 7-0 and went from 14-18 to 21-18 and Sävehof was scoreless for the whole 9.16 and never managed to get up.

– We completely turn it around and get some easy goals and get some saves in the back, says Bjärrenholt.
