The Iraqi international has been making headlines in recent days. He did not play in the away match against Varberg on Monday, even though he was initially listed in the starting eleven on Hammarby’s website.
Then he was said to have refused to play. Now the club suspends him indefinitely.
Hammarby announces:
“Right now, a discussion is being held regarding Mohanad Jeahze’s future in Hammarby. It is a matter the club keeps internal and will not comment further at the moment. While the discussion is ongoing, Mohanad will not participate in the joint training, which the club and the player have jointly agreed upon .”
According to Expressen, the Turkish big club Besiktas is looking for Jeahze. According to the newspaper, the club has made an offer of approximately ten million Swedish kronor for the fullback.
Mohanad Jeahze already has a contract with Hammarby until the end of December 2023.
