HP’s club management wants Eerik Häkämies to continue as game director.

In the last seven years, the men’s team of Hamina’s Ball players has made three promotions to the main league. The team’s two previous visits at the SM level have only lasted about a year. Hamina’s most recent series rise came over the weekend.

The season of Hamina’s Ball players in the top flight ended on Sunday with a promotion party, when the team beat Kankaanpää Maila 2-1 in the third final match.

Executive Director of HP Marko Hovi says that next season we will keep the league position with this season’s players.

The team management is currently negotiating with the current core players about comprehensive contracts for next season. At the moment, they have signed a contract for next season with the orange shirts Ville Rämet, Johannes Kiri and Mico Huttunen.

At HP, we want to continue the cooperation, game director Eerik Häkämienen with. Häkämies replaced someone who was fired as game director in the middle of the season Jukka Mäkinen.

Four major league baseball teams will play in Southeast Finland next season. The women’s and men’s teams of Hamina Palloilije play at the championship level. On the men’s side, in addition to HP, Kouvola’s Pallonlöjät and Imatra’s Pallo-Veikot play in the main series.
