Hallstahammar is one of the county’s municipalities that have their own climate and energy adviser. Carl-Magnus Palmblad works partly with giving advice to private individuals, companies and organizations – and partly with mapping the municipality’s own consumption in schools, nursing homes and other buildings.
– We carry out an energy inspection of the buildings: heating system, ventilation and other technical installations. And looking at what can be improved, what can be replaced.

In his job of advising private individuals and companies, Carl-Magnus Palmblad has had more to do.
– There has been very high pressure, many want help with what to do to reduce their costs. And there we try to give the best possible advice, says Carl-Magnus Palmblad.
