Since leaving the cathedral city, Haller has played for Eintracht Frankfurt, West Ham United, Ajax, Dortmund and Leganés. In 2022, Haller was diagnosed with a malignant form of testicular cancer, after which he underwent several operations and chemotherapy. After rehabilitation, Haller returned to the training field a year ago.
