Assassin’s Creed Shadows producer announced that half of the team developing the game has never made a game before. This situation creates some difficulties in the development of the game.
Development of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is not easy. The game’s release was delayed due to negative comments towards the game’s heroes and the poor performance of Star Wars Outlaws. However, series producer Marc-Alexis Côté, in a speech at an event, gave information about the current situation of the team and his thoughts about the game.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Team Revealed to Be Rookies
“There are a lot of newbies in our teams after the pandemic. The experience level has decreased in general. Almost half of the team developing Assassin’s Creed is making a game for the first time,” Côté said. Although it was not clear whether this situation caused problems while developing Assassin’s Creed Shadows, he stated that it affected the perceptions within the team.
Even though the team is currently seeing the game at its worst, Côté said that they will eventually get to a good place and reminded that he has encountered similar situations before. He emphasized that the first Assassin’s Creed got 91 points in July, even considering that the game would be released in October.
With the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows just around the corner, experienced producer Côté and his team are confident in their work. Although working with a rookie team can be challenging, Côté’s past experience gives him confidence that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be a success.
Despite this, the game’s delay and the team’s inexperience worry some players. Assassin’s Creed fans are afraid that the new game of the series will not meet expectations. However, Côté and his team seem determined to overcome these difficulties by working hard and benefiting from their past experiences. It is eagerly awaited what kind of game Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be.
