Half a million gone – employee charged

A store employee in Växjö managed to get over half a million kroner by making false returns. The woman has confessed and in police questioning told in detail how she proceeded. Now she is charged with gross infidelity against the principal, reports P4 Kronoberg.

The crime was detected by the store’s internal security system. In total, she has made false returns on 24 occasions. The money was then used for private purchases and gambling at online casinos, Smålandsposten writes.
