Haldimand County OPP are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred Friday on Mississauga Road.

Police say a vehicle left the roadway located on the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation sometime around 1:30 pm

Upon arrival, police found the driver without vital signs. The driver, who has not been identified by police, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters and paramedics also attended the scene to provide assistance.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team, along with the Brant County Major Crime Unit, are investigating the collision. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area if possible.
