The blue-and-yellow guard moved to FC Barcelona already as a 15-year-old and since then has mostly played in Spain. “Ludde” Håkanson came to Bilbao in 2020 after a short stay in Polish Zielona Góra.
Last season, Håkanson averaged 12.1 points and 4.4 assists in the Spanish league, where Bilbao finished twelfth. According to the Basque club, the Swede is using a clause to break the contract.
It is not clear which will be Håkanson’s next club address.
