PROVINCE OF UTRECHT – Sometimes it snows in April, Prince once sang. It used to happen more often, nowadays it’s a rarity. In large parts of Utrecht we woke up with a white blanket over the streets and houses. Radio M Utrecht played Christmas music this morning. And while the tradition of joking seems to be disappearing on April 1, one habit is still firmly entrenched in our culture: we take snow photos en masse.
