Hades 2 by Supergiant Games is one of the most wanted games on Steam. Now it has surprisingly been released in early access and has thousands of players. The numbers are likely to continue to rise.
What kind of game is this? Hades 2 is, surprise, the successor to Hades 1. In part 2 you play your way through the eponymous underworld again as Melinoe, the immortal princess of the underworld, killing monsters and improving your heroine. Hades 2 was one of the most wanted games on Steam, alongside Manor Lords and Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Hades 2 has launched, costs around 30 euros and is available in early access
How much does Hades 2 cost? The game starts in early access and initially costs 28.99 euros. There is no starting discount. You don’t have to rush to buy if you were hoping for a starting discount.
However, Supergiant Games has already revealed that they want to “possibly increase the sales price at a later date” when there is more content.
Currently (as of May 6, 2024, 8:00 p.m.) around 17,000 players are playing Hades 2 on Steam. There are fewer than 100 reviews so far. If you value the opinions of other players, you should also wait a little longer.
If you haven’t played the predecessor yet: You can get Hades 1 on offer until May 13, 2024 for around 9 euros. If the cost of just under 30 euros puts you off, you could also get started with the predecessor for much cheaper.
What is included in Early Access? The developers themselves explain that Hades 2 already offers more content in Early Access than its predecessor. For around 30 euros you are sure to get a lot. The developers themselves write on Steam:
The Early Access of Hades II currently has more regions, enemies and English-dubbed characters than the first Hades. However, the game is not yet fully developed – this means that some key regions, characters, enemies, story events and systems are not yet included.
