The Elden Ring community is always finding new ways to fight their way through the game, but one Twitch streamer has made life particularly difficult for himself by turning Elden Ring into a drinking game.
What did the drinking game look like? Players who are already familiar with Elden Ring and are adept at it tend to take on additional challenges. If the game isn’t difficult enough for you, you can help others defeat the most difficult boss on your own – or turn it into a drinking game.
Twitch streamer YourBudTevin followed this plan. He played Elden Ring and decided to take a sip of alcohol in the following situations:
Anyone who knows Elden Ring knows that sounds like a bad idea. Because you die a lot in this game, unless you’re a really good player who can get through the intermediate lands in your sleep. The streamer at least made it to the final boss – but not without having a few drinks along the way.

The final boss was a size too big
How did the run go? The streamer died a few times while playing through the game. When he reached the final boss, he had collected 50 sips from deaths and summons. 50 or fewer deaths isn’t actually bad, but if each one results in a sip from the bottle, it can become a problem.
The streamer was well prepared for the final boss, which consists of two different phases. The first phase, in which you fight Radagon, turned out to be a big challenge.
YourBudTevin died from it another twenty times. After the 70th sip, the streamer had had enough for now. As you can see in the clip, he freaked out and… well, the pictures themselves show what he does with the green screen.
Was that the end? Despite his outburst, the streamer refused to give up. He kept trying and took another 10 deaths, bringing his total to 80 sips.
He didn’t manage to defeat Radagon until the end, quite the opposite. The boss made the streamer give up, also for health reasons. That’s understandable and reasonable, but the fact that he still made it to the final boss is all the more impressive considering the circumstances.
Maybe that’s enough for the streamer. Or he’ll try the self-imposed challenge in the upcoming DLC for Elden Ring, which will be released on June 21, 2024. After the expansion, lead developer Hidetaka Miyazaki has big plans for the studio’s future games – you can read what exactly on MeinMMO.
