After Kalla Fakta’s revelation that 5 out of 8 parliamentary parties wanted to circumvent the law in order to receive anonymous party donations, author and criminologist Leif GW Persson now reacts.
– It was expected, says GW about the disclosure.
He believes that it is in the mechanics of those who collect money that they want to collect as much as possible, and that everyone involved knows that you can round the system relatively easily.
– They want to collect as much as possible, they want to be the best in the class.
The big problem, GW believes, however, is the large number of former politicians who, after their political careers, become consultants, often with high compensation.
– As soon as they stop working in politics, they become consultants for business, and for this they then receive compensation that in individual cases can amount to several million kroner, he says.
GW believes that these ex-politicians are hired by the business community solely because they can open the political door and therefore suggests that they should be quarantined.
